The two sides also coordinated to protect important political, social and cultural events, including the inauguration of border landmarks and Long Binh – Chrey Thom Bridge in 2017, and co-held various bilateral exchange events.

Speaking at the meeting held, chiefs of the police forces of the two Cambodian provinces appreciated the close and effective coordination of the An Giang Provincial Police Department in crime prevention and combat along the shared border lines.
