Police officer returns lost property worth VND 1 billion to rightful owner

PSnews – The Bim Son Town Police on 20-12 returned assets worth VND 1 billion to Mr. La Hai Khanh, Chairman of the Song Da Yaly Cement JSC, who had lost his bag with money and valuable items inside on road.

At 15h, December 19, a group of the Bim Son Town Traffic Police, including Senior Lieutenant Do Duc Dung, Nguyen Ba Hung and Lieutenant Nguyen Quoc Tuan, while taking a daily patrol along Tran Hung Dao street, Bim Son town, found a personal handbag with VND 14.5 million, an Iphone 6s and many other rare jewels inside.

The policemen saw some documents about the owner but no address nor phone number.

The honest police officers then took the statement of the case and handed over the property to the Bim Son Town Traffic Police.

After a day searching, the Bim Son Town Traffic Police successfully found out the rightful owner, named La Hai Khanh, and invited him to the office to receive back his lost property.

According to La Hai Khanh, his items in the bag worth VND 1 billion.
