Police officers bring "Warm spring” to officers and people in Northern border

From January 16 - January 18, 2024, a working group of the People's Public Security Forces’ Trade Union led by Head of the Trade Union Committee Colonel Cong Thanh Thao carried out the program "Warm Spring on the Border – Tet of Compassion" in Si Ma Cai district, Lao Cai province.

The program with a total cost of 300 million VND aimed at offering gifts to local police forces, teachers, students and people with a hope that officers and people in the mountainous area would have a happy and sufficient Lunar New Year (Tet).

During the program, the People's Public Security Forces’ Trade Union in coordination with the Hai Phong City Labor Confederation launched a series of social activities in Si Ma Cai district, Lao Cai province.

The working delegation offered the Si Ma Cai District Police Station 10 hot water tanks, 100 helmets, 20 boxes of bottled water and the commune police force 56 gifts.

The delegation presented the Middle School and High School for Ethnic Minority Student Boarding School of Si Ma Cai district with one bookcase, 150 sets of traditional long dress, 400 sets of clothes, 20 scholarships and school supplies.

The working group along with the Si Ma Cai District Police Station and Si Ma Cai District Middle for Ethnic Minority Students and High School held a cultural exchange night and talk shows with speakers to help local students understand family love, be grateful to teachers and have more energy to work harder in their study and life.

In Sin Cheng commune, Si Ma Cai district, the working group also organized legal dissemination programs for people in the area, gave Tet gifts to more than 200 households in extremely difficult circumstances and provided funding for a household to build their new home as their old one had been burnt out.
