This summer, Captain Nguyen Viet Hung, a police officer from the Dong Son Communal Police Post, and local youth union members open a free martial arts course at the Dong Son Primary School, attracting the participation of many local children of different ages.

Three times a week, the semi-professional martial arts master teaches local children martial arts from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

At first, the martial arts course had only about 10 children, but after more than one month, the number of children attending the "zero-cost martial arts course" increased to 70.

During the course, the children are taught not only martial arts but also social skills as well as good moral qualities.

The "zero-cost martial arts course" creates a healthy and beneficial environment for local children during summer, helping them improve physical fitness, promote their discipline and self-defense ability while keeping them away from social evils, contributing to strengthening the close bonds between the people and police officers at grassroots.
