PPA launches summer voluntary campaign

PSNews – The People’s Police Academy (PPA) on June 11 launched the 2018 summer voluntary campaign.

The voluntary campaign is part of its Youth Union organization’s activities to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of the Academy, 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s call for patriotic emulation.

The Youth Union Chapter of the PPA has chosen Son Nam commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang as the target of this year’s campaign named “Road to Tan Trao”.

Such a  program conducted by the Youth Union Chapter of the Academy has now become an annual activity. During the program, the academy’s participating youths “eat, stay and work” with local people.

Via the social program, the organizers improve participating youths’ knowledge of national history, patriotism, revolutionary tradition of the locality as well as feats of arms of the Public Security Forces in both wartime and peacetime.

Participating youths also promote the spirit of vanguardism and voluntarism as well as sense of responsibility for remote, border  areas and islands.

By participating in the voluntary program, the youth of the PPA also have opportunity to support the community, contributing to enhancing the relations between the people and the Public Security Forces.

Nearly 100 Youths of the PPA participate in this year’s program, which runs from June 11 to 24.
