PPA’s E-library officially launched

PSNews-The People’s Police Academy (PPA) in association with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) organized a ceremony to wrap up a cooperation project on building an electronic library, and to launch the Electronic Library of the PPA.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and addressed the event.

Mr. Park Sang-sik, Korean Consulate General to Vietnam, Mr. Chang Jae Yun, Director of KOIKA in Vietnam, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the PPA and other units of the PPA attended the ceremony.

The “E-library for the People’s Police Academy” project, which was approved by the Governments of Vietnam and Korea and the MPS of Vietnam, officially started on January 12, 2015, marking a new development of the PPA and symbolized the cooperation between the PPA and the Korean partners.

The project is expected to help the PPA enhance professional capabilities and provide better technical facilities for education and training activities, scientific research, scientific information, and sources of educational materials, contributing to building the PPA into a significant national education institution in 2016.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam appreciated and thanked the Korean Government and KOICA for the cooperation with the PPA.

He also expressed his hope that the MPS and other relevant units under the MPS in general and the PPA in particular will continue to receive support and cooperation projects from the Government of Korea, contributing to bolstering the Vietnam-Korea strategic partnership.
