Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung chaired the online meeting.
According to reports at the event, the professional archives and records force has seriously observed regulations and instructions of the MPS on professional archives and records while performing duties over the past 6 months.
Meanwhile, all public security agencies and units fully realized the importance of professional archives and records and regarded the work as one of their professional missions that all officers should hold responsibility for.
Meanwhile, agencies and units in charge of professional archives and records completed a number of strategic tasks in line with the policies of the Government and MPS. Particularly, the force coordinated actively with other agencies and units to effectively implement the Government’s Project 06 on applying population data, e-identification and e-authentication in national digital transformation as well as to deploy public services of levels 3 and 4.
Apart from its professional missions, the Public Security Department of Professional Archives and Records also assisted the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency in verifying, pursuing and arresting wanted criminals and fugitives.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested the leadership of the Public Security Department of Professional Archives and Records to improve the quality of the sector’s task performance, recheck and purify all databases while ensuring high fidelity and exactness of all professional archives and records.
The deputy minister also asked the entire public security professional archives and records sector to coordinate closely with concerned agencies and units to accelerate the implementation of Project 06 and contribute more to the building of digital government, digital economy and digital society.
