PSCPC holds press briefing on organization of 7th Public Security Party Congress

The Public Security Central Party Committee (PSCPC) and the Organizing Panel of the 7th Public Security Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term held a press conference October 8 to provide press agencies with information about the preparation and organization of the upcoming Public Security Party Congress.

Major General To An Xo, Chief of the PSCPC’s Office, Spokesperson and Office Chief of the Ministry of Public Security, and Major General Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Director of the Department of Party and Political Work under the Ministry of Public Security co-chaired the event.

At the press conference, Major General Toan briefed the participating reporters on the preparation and organization of the 7th Public Security Party Congress. According to him, the important political event will take place from October 11-13 in the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security at No. 44, Yet Kieu St., Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Toan also informed the journalists of the results of the Party congresses of public security units and agencies at the lower levels as well as the results of the implementation of the 6th Public Security Party Congress’ Resolution and major directions, objectives and missions of the Public Security Party organization in the 2020 - 2025 term.

Speaking at the event, Major General To An Xo stated that, in the last term, under the leadership of the Party and the management of the State, thanks to the close coordination with other agencies and sectors, and the great supports from the people, the Public Security Central Party Committee has led the entire People's Public Security Forces to comprehensively implement their working plans and successfully complete the objectives and tasks set out by the 6th Public Security Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the 12th National Party Congress’ Resolution.

Major General Xo asked the press agencies to further popularize the organization and results of the upcoming 7th Public Security Party Congress as well as the achievements of the Public Security Party organization in the last term.

In addition, Major General To An Xo expressed hope that the press agencies will inform the people of the difficulties and sacrifices of the Public Security Forces in fighting crimes and ensuring national security and social order.
