The meeting also saw the presence of Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of Central Party Committee, Chairman of the PSCPC’s Inspection Commission, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Since the beginning of 2020, the Inspection Commission has well performed inspection and supervision over the preparations for the Party congresses of public security agencies and units at all levels.
The commission also speeded up the completion of the inspections on the schedule and conducted unexpected inspections over Party organizations and Party members with signs of Party discipline violation in a strict and fair manner.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam praised the the PSCPC’sInspection Commission for its good outcomes over the past time.
The Minister emphasized that, in the remaining months of 2020, the Inspection Commissionshould attach importance to fulfilling the tasks assigned by the PSCPC and its Standing Board.
It should also promptly handle complaints about and wrongdoings of Party organizations or Party members while focusing on solving cases involving the selection of candidates for the Party congresses of public security agencies and units at all levels.
The commission should also advise the PSCPC to revise, amend and issue resolutions, regulations and guidelines on inspection and supervision work, creating favorable conditions for inspection commissions at all levels in the People's Public Security Forces to successfully accomplish their assigned tasks.
Furthermore, it should open more training courses on inspection and supervision skills for cadres at local Party inspection commissions in 2020.
