PSNews enhances ties with Vinh Phuc province

A delegation of the Public Security News Paper (PSNews), led by Senior Colonel Pham Khai, Editor-in-Chief, on July 6 visited and worked with the Provincial People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc.

On behalf of the province’s leadership, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tri welcomed the delegation of the PSNews.

Tri noted that Vinh Phuc is among the provinces badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The growth rate in the first 6 months is negative 2.7%. The province has focused on preventing and fighting against epidemics, and developing the economy following the Prime Minister’s direction.

He also thanked the PSNews for its attention and support, and hoped that the newspaper would further coordinate with relevant agencies of the province in popularizing the outcomes and achievements in emulation movements of the province.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Pham Khai highlighted that the PSNews has covered various activities and achievements of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police Department, such as the successful investigation of major gambling cases in Song Lo and Vinh Tuong districts.

Senior Colonel Pham Khai emphasized that the newspaper and the Provincial People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc have coordinated for many years. The Editor-in-Chief promised to direct the newspaper’s reporters to cover Vinh Phuc’s efforts in developing the socio-economy, and ensuring security and order as towel as in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the event, Senior Colonel Tran Van Binh, Vice Director of the Provincial Police Department, briefed the participants on various outcomes and achievements of the local police in ensuring political security, social order and safety.
