PSNews supports people in flood-hit localities

A charitable delegation of the Public Security Newspaper (PSNews), led by Editor-in-Chief Senior Colonel Pham Khai and Chairman of Van Phu Invest (the donor), visited and presented gifts to people in flood-hit areas in central provinces on October 20 to help them overcome their difficulties.

The charitable mission visited Thua Thien Hue province, where 27 people have reportedly been dead, 15 still remain missing and 13 have been injured as a result of flood and landslide. Some 85,000 houses have been flooded and dozens of others have been destroyed. The total loss caused by the flood has been estimated at over VND 1,126 billion (over $ 48 million)

They visited and presented 400 gifts, including food and medicines, to flood-hit people in Phu Loc district. Other 250 gifts were presented to people in Loc Binh commune and 150 others were offered to residents of Vinh Hien commune.

Another charitable team of the PSNews also visited and presented 400 gifts, including rice, instant noodles and drinking water, to flood-hit people in Dai Hung commune (Dai Loc district), Duy Phuoc commune (Duy Xuyen district) and Dien Phuong commune (Dien Ban town) of Quang Nam.
