PSU signs agreement on cooperation with DHS

The People’s Security University (PSU) and the Homeland Security Department (DHS) under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on November 23 signed a cooperation agreement.

Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the event.

Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi hailed and appreciated the cooperation agreement between the PSU and the DHS, saying that it will contribute to effectively ensuring security and order in the current situation.

He requested both signatories to enhance coordination in the working fields articulated in the agreement. According to him, the school can help the department build capacity of its officers while the department can provide the school with valuable working experience so that the school can improve the quality of its teaching and learning.

They are supposed to review the implementation and draw lessons for better coordination in the time to come, recommend good methods to improve the efficiency of operation of both units.

On the same day, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi attended the great national solidarity event hosted by the PSU.

At the event, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi and Major General Phan Xuan Tuy, Dean of the PSU, presented gifts to 23 ethnic minority students with outstanding academic performance at the university.

Earlier, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi and other delegates offered flowers and incense to President Ho Chi Minh at his Monument, located on the campus of PSU and visited the university's Traditional House.
