The dispatch says, the number of violation of the traffic regulations as well as in compliance of the traffic police’s signals and resistance to functional forces have been on a rise in various localities in the past time, causing damages to the State assets, directly infringing upon health and lives of people and officials on duty, especially injuring and killing officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security forces on duty.

Such violations of the laws have caused public worries and social protests against offenders, requiring competent agencies to seriously punish violators, and at the same time, to deter and prevent similar happenings in the coming time.

Against this backdrop, the MPS highly appreciated the strong support of the people from all walks of life and press agencies to the People's Public Security Forces in general and Traffic Police force in particular. At the same time, the MPS suggested that all people continue to accompany and assist the police forces in detecting and handling acts of violation of the Laws on Traffic and acts against on-duty forces.

The leaders of the MPS requested heads of police units and localities to further direct the traffic police force to coordinate with relevant forces and people in promoting law dissemination and education to raise people’s awareness, and strictly handle traffic violations.

According to the dispatch, relevant forces can use all tools and approaches to prevent and handle those who neglect traffic police’s orders or violently act against officers on duty, in line with the current laws.At the same time, the whole police force must ensure absolute security and safety for State assets, people as well as officers and soldiers in doing their duties.

TV and press agencies of the Public Security forces coordinate with other news agencies to increase articles and reports on good people and good practices in following regulations of traffic safety and order while criticizing and protesting against acts of violation of the traffic law or against on duty officials and promoting law dissemination and education to raise traffic users’awareness.

The Traffic Police Department is requested to frequently inspect and closely monitor the implementation of involved police units and localities, and regularly report the traffic situation to the Ministry's leadership.
