Accordingly, the conference focused on evaluating the party work in 2023 of all Party committees within the Public Security Central Party Organization in 2023.

Reports read that, under the direct, absolute and all-sided leadership of the Politburo, the Secretariat, as well as of the General Secretary, the President and the Prime Minister as members of the Standing Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Public Security Central Party Committee and Party committees within the Public Security Central Party Organization have always heightened a high sense responsibility, promoted internal unity, and overcome all difficulties so they have proactively renovated leadership methods.

The Public Security Central Party Committee and its subordinate Party committees have led the entire Public Security Forces to successfully realize the Party’s resolution on protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety as well as building pure, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces in the current situation.

Concluding the conference, Minister To Lam emphasized that the Public Security Central Party Committee will lead the Public Security Forces to successfully realize Party’s solutions, reach all the objectives set out in the Resolution of the 7th Public Security Central Party Committee Congress, and achieve better work results in 2024 than this year.

Minister To Lam awards Certificates of Merit to officers who have won the A prize and other prizes of the 8th “Golden Hammer and Sickle” Press Award in 2023.

To meet this end, Minister To Lam requested Party committees of public security agencies and units at all levels to carefully study the goals set out in the Resolution of the 7th Public Security Central Party Congress and Resolutions of the their Party congresses for the 2020 - 2025 term while proactively coordinating with central agencies, ministries, branches and localities, and mobilizing the entire political system to participate in protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the Public Security Forces.

At the conference, the Public Security Central Party Committee also held a ceremony to award the 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges to senior Party members, and a ceremony to honor the winners of the 8th “Golden Hammer and Sickle” National Press Award in 2023.
