Public Security Central Party Committee pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

PSNews - The Public Security Central Party Committee on May 15 held a conference to review outcomes of the implementation of Directive No.05 issued on May 15, 2016 by the Politburo and Directive No.04 issued on May 19, 2018 by the Ministry of Public Security. 

Before starting the conference, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security hosted an incense and floral offering ceremony in commemoration to Uncle Ho at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh in the MPS headquarters.

Present at the ceremony were also Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security and other members of the Public Security Central Party Committee as well as representatives of public security agencies and units.

The Public Security Central Party Committee promised to President Ho Chi Minh to continue promoting the past achievements with the aim of successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, contributing to protecting the peaceful life Vietnamese people and the national security

According to the report at the conference, the Ministry of Public Security has thoroughly implemented Directive No.05 on enhancing the movement of “Studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle"  and Directive No.04 on raising quality of the movement "Public Security Forces studying and following Uncle Ho's six teachings " in the new period and the campaign "Building on People’s Public Security Officers’ qualities of bravery and humanity and devotedness to the people.”

All agencies and units of the Public Security Ministry have held many effective political activities such as organizing root returning, launching contests on understanding of Ho Chi Minh thoughts and compiling books and reference documents related to this field as well as enhancing martial art training.

After 4-year implementation of Directive No.05, 2-year implementation of Directive No.04, all public security and soldiers have improved their sense of responsibility for work while the leadership ability and fighting capability of Party committees and organizations of public security agencies and units have been raised, contributing to successfully protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.
