The Public Security Central Party Committee held a meeting to review its Party inspection, supervision and discipline work for the 2020–2025 term, on the morning of November 17, in Hanoi.

Overview of the meeting.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the meeting.

The event saw the presence of Member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Van Ron; and Vice Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Doan Anh Dung.

Representing the Public Security Central Party Committee were Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Chairman of the Public Security Central Party Committee’s Inspection Commission and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To; and Members of the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Ministers of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen and Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc.

Delivering the opening remarks, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To emphasized that during the 2020–2025 term, the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat issued numerous new guidelines and regulations that became bright spots in terms of approach, action, democratic practice, exemplary conduct principle, discipline and anti-corruption efforts, contributing to continuously building and rectifying the Party and political system toward integrity and strength.

At the meeting, delegates watched a documentary reviewing major activities of the Party inspection, supervision and discipline work carried out during the 2020–2025 term by the Public Security Central Party Committee.

On that basis, delegates discussed accomplishments and strengths in Party inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement during the term, as well as pointed out remaining shortcomings, causes and lessons learned, while proposing key tasks and solutions for the next phase.

Concluding the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the achievements of the Public Security Central Party Committee in Party inspection, supervision and discipline work during the 2020–2025 term.

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested public security units and agencies to fully be aware that inspection and supervision are responsibilities of the entire Public Security Forces’ Party Organization and Party committees at all levels  from the central level down to communal level, in which inspection commissions of all levels serve as the core force.

The Minister stressed the need to focus on inspecting and supervising the implementation of the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Organization, particularly the solutions on building the Public Security Central Party Committee as a clean, strong, comprehensive, exemplary and leading Party organization.

He also requested basic-level Party organizations to strengthen their combat capability and lead the building of truly revolutionary, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces in their units, and train their Party members to become “the most disciplined – the most loyal – the most attached to the people” officers.
