Public Security Department presents gifts to poor people in Soc Trang

PSNews-On August 26, the Department of Internal Political Security (A83) under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in collaboration with the Soc Trang Provincial Police and the People’s Hospital 115 to offer free health checkups, medicines and gifts to policy families and under-privileged people in Hoa Tu 1 commune, My Xuyen district, Soc Trang.

The activity was significant and practical in celebration of the 72th Anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Independence Day and the 60th Traditional Day of the Internal Political Security force (October 5).

The organizers of the event presented 300 gifts totaling VND 55 million, each of which includes 10 kg of rice and other necessities for daily life to various policy households and poor people in the locality.

The working delegation also donated 2 full bookshelves to the Communal House of the commune.

Doctors of the People’s Hospital 115 offered free medical checkups and provided free medicines to local people, who have little access to proper healthcare services.
