Public security doctors honored on occasion of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, visited the 198 Hospital and Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security, on the 67th Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27).

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits 198 Hospital. 

The deputy minister was accompanied by Major General Pham Thi Lan Anh, Director of the Public Security Department of Health, and representatives from relevant units.

The deputy minister lauded achievements of the public security healthcare sector over the past year, while highlighting their great efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

He highly valued the two hospitals’ sending their medical staff to pandemic hotspots throughout the country in support of local medical efforts to fight the pandemic.

He affirmed, the efforts and achievements of doctors and nurses of the two hospitals in the past time had been recognized and applauded by the Party, State and people.

He revealed, the 198 Hospital had been rewarded the third-class “Feat of Arms” Order by the State President.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son presented the Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security to various individuals of the 198 Hospital in recognition of their outstanding achievements in COVID-19 prevention and combat.
