Public Security Forces and Military join hands in conserving relics

PSNews – The Historical Institute of the Public Security Forces in association with the Vietnam Military History Museum held a conference to exchange experiences in conserving and promoting the value of relics. 

The conference which was held on November 22nd in the relic site of the former Central Public Security headquarters (Tuyen Quang province) drew the participation of Major General Nguyen Binh Ban, Director of the Historical Institute of the Public Security Forces; Major General Nguyen Xuan Nang, Director of the Vietnam Military History Museum, as well as representatives of other public security relic sites in the North and military museums.

At the conference, Major General Nguyen Binh Ban said that the conference was seen as a practical activity towards the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23rd).

He also vowed to increase other cooperation activities between the Historical Institute of the Public Security Forces and the Vietnam Military History Museum as well as between public security and military units, contributing to promoting traditional, political and ideological education, and bringing into full play the value of cultural heritages of the Public Security Forces and Military.

The two parties exchanged experiences with the aim of improving the efficiency of traditional museum expertise. In addition, delegates shared views on the real situation, achievements and difficulties of this sector in the past and proposed sound solutions to overcome the difficulties and shortcomings.

Within the framework of the conference, delegates of the Historical Institute of the Public Security Forces and the Vietnam Military History Museum laid flowery wreath at the monument “ For the Fatherland Security”.
