At the symposium, delegates discussed and clarified theoretical perceptions and basic research on human security, the work of ensuring human security, international cooperation on protecting human security in association with the functions and tasks of each public security agency or unit in protecting human security and ensuring the practice of human security.
Delegates also underlined, ensuring human security is not only the responsibility of a single entity, but requires the participation of agencies, organizations and branches at all levels as well as people from all walks of life and the nation as a whole.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the high sense of responsibility and effort of the People's Public Security Academy and relevant functional units for the good organization of the meeting
The Deputy Minister also suggested that the People's Public Security Academy and relevant functional agencies should soon summarize ideas and opinions at the meetingand then report the summary to the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and the Theory Council of the Ministry of Public Security.
Meanwhile, public security agencies and units at all levelsshould expand international cooperation on protecting human security and ensuring the practice of human security across the country in accordance with the Consititution and laws of Vietnam.
