Public Security Forces’ doctors provide free health checkups for locals in Kien Giang

PSNews – A mission of the Department of Health under the General Department of Logistics and Techniques newly provided free health checkups, medicines and gifts to people in My Duc commune, Ha Tien city, Kien Giang province.

This was one of the most meaningful activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People's Public Security Health force (July 12, 1947- July 12, 2017) and 70th anniversary of the Public Security Logistics and Techniques sector (January 25, 1948 - January 25, 2018).

In My Duc commune, doctors and nurses of the Department of Health, Hospital 30-4 (Ho Chi Minh city), Police Hospital in Kien Giang province provided free health checkups, medicines and gifts to 300 locals, who are national contributors, old people and patients with difficulties.

In addition, the delegation visited and donated 3 gifts to national contributors or martyrs’ families in My Duc commune.

The delegation also handed 5 units of medicines for natural disasters, with a total value of 100 million VND to Kien Giang Police’s Infirmary, Ha Tien Town Medical Center, My Duc Commune Health Station and Ha Tien Town Police.
