Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine asked to build a "gentle, civilized, friendly" working culture

Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen paid a visit to the Hanoi-based Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine on April 8.

According to a report delivered by the hospital’s director, Major General Pham Ba Tuyen, over the past time, the Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine has made great achievements in examining and treating patients while actively applying new medical techniques and technologies to its professional practices.

Traditional medicine products and remedies made by the hospital have widely been appreciated by people and have high commercial value.

Additionally, following directions of the Ministry of Public Security’s (MPS)leadership, the hospital has participated actively and effectively in preventing and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic by sending its medical staff to epicenters to run field hospitals while actively researching new bioproducts to treat the infectious disease.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the MPS leaders, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen praised the Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine for their efforts over the past time.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen emphasized that, as one of the leading health care centers of the Public Security Forces, the hospital should further develop its medical capacity, invest more in facilities, and build capacity of its medical staff in an effort to become a special-class traditional medicine hospital in the country.

Regarding the hospital’s tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested the Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine to pay more attention to developing the hospital to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of public security officers and civilians while building a contingent of medical workers good at expertise and ethics.

The Deputy Minister also requested the hospital's Party Committee and leaders to be an example for their staff, uphold their sense of responsibility, maintain discipline, strengthen internal solidarity as well as improve working conditions for its medical staff.
