Public Security Ministry relieves flood victims in Quang Ngai

PSNews – Major General Nguyen Quang Chu, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics and a working mission of the Public Security Ministry came to Quang Ngai to donate money for flood-stricken local people.

On behalf of the charity mission of the Ministry of Public Security, Major General Nguyen Quang Chu handed over VND500 million from the “Comradeship Fund” to the Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee.

In addition, representatives of the working mission donated VND300 million and VND 200 million respectively to the Quang Ngai Provincial Police and the Quang Ngai Provincial Fire Fighting Police.

The latest flooding caused heavy losses and huge damages in Quang Ngai. The police force of Quang Ngai went to most flood-hit areas to protected public and personal assets as well as evacuated flood-affected locals to safe areas on time. At present, they are still staying side by side with local people in overcoming the aftermath of the floods.
