PSA’s D48 students majored in security and laws are doing their internship in the four districts of Muong Nhe, Nam Po, Muong Cha and Dien Bien Dong, Dien Bien province.

Earlier, the PSA’s students raised funds and called for donation to help local primary and secondary students. After a month, some 30 million Dongs, 1,500 books and many other necessities were donated by officers in the Public Security Force and various donors from all parts of Vietnam.

The PSA’s interns on May 12 presented over 4,000 books and 90 scholarships (each scholarship worth 200,000 Dongs) to poor students with good academic records at three schools in Keo Lom, including Keo Lom primary and secondary schools and Sam Man primary school.

The donated clothes and other necessities were either placed in a “charity closet” at the headquarters of Keo Lom People’s Committee or presented to children in Hang Lia and Trung Sua villages.

The books donated given to local students would bring them knowledge, helping them change their lives and contribute to developing their home province in the future, said a student of the PSA.
