Public security units team up to better perform missions

PSNews-On April 25, the People’s Police Academy (PPA), Department of Health (under the MPS), 198 Hospital and Vietnamese Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in implementing their assigned missions.

Accordingly, the signatories of the MoU are committed to supporting one another within their bounds of capacities and functions and in a voluntary spirit while observing regulations of the MPS and laws of the State, to accomplish their given tasks.

Cooperation activities among the parties will be carried out regularly under set plan but may also be readjusted to suit requirements and tasks in different periods of time, under the direct leadership of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and heads of the units.

At the signing ceremony, the parties discussed and agreed on the following main contents: Collaboration in scientific research; Cooperation in training, technology transfer and other areas related to the expertise of the parties.

Particularly, the PPA is responsible for supporting the other units in training officers at various levels. At the same time, it will back its partners in organizing training courses in military tactics, martial arts…

The Department of Health, 198 Hospital, the Vietnamese Traditional Medicine Hospital under the MPS in return will provide the PPA with technology transfer and intensive training for its medical staff and officers of the academy. Additionally, they will help the academy popularize knowledge of prevention of common diseases, healthcare and food hygiene to its staff and students.
