Public Security Women’s Union rolls out working plan for 2021

PSNews - The Public Security Women's Union (PSWU) held a meeting on January 28 to roll out its working plan for 2021.

The event saw the presence of Ms. Bui Thi Hoa, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, and Senior Colonel Ngo Hoai Thu, Deputy Director of the Party and Political Work Department and President of the PSWU.

Ms. Bui Thi Hoa awards the Medal "For the Development of Vietnamese Women" to public security officers for their great contributions to the development and equality of women in Vietnam.

During the last year, the PSWU paid due attention to building a strong Women's Union organization and contributed ideas to the project on renovating the organization and operation of socio-political organizations in the People's Public Security Forces.

Additionally, women’s organizations of public security agencies and units at all levels organized various practical activities to promptly encourage female public security officers, soldiers and workers to overcome difficulties and fulfill their assigned tasks.

On behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union, Vice President Bui Thi Hoa praised the achievements of the PSWU and its subordinates in 2020.

She also pointed out some key tasks for public security women’s organizations in 2021. Particularly, they should further support their members while improving efficiency and quality of political education in line with Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morals and lifestyle as well as other movements launched by the Vietnam Women's Union and the Public Security Forces.

Furthermore, the Women’s Union chapters of public security agencies and units at all levels should advise their leadership and committees for the advancement of women, family and children affairs on measures to effectively implement women affairs, gender equality, family and children affairs in the People's Public Security Forces.
