In 2024, the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department thoroughly grasped the situation and proactively advised the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the local authorities on fundamental and strategic approaches to ensure national security with the aim of denying any unexpected strategic surprises and preventing the formation of complicated security and order hotbeds.

The Quang Binh Provincial Police Department also mobilized forces and means to ensure absolute security and safety for the visits of Party and State leaders and international delegations to the province, as well as major political, economic and cultural events taking place in the province during the year.

Additionally, the police department also attached great importance to the work of Party building and building the Public Security Forces, mobilized the synergy of the entire political system for the building of truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements in the new situation in line with Resolution No. 12 by the Politburo.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung commended the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department for their excellent achievements in 2024.

Regarding key tasks in 2025, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department should take synchronous measures to ensure absolute security and safety for the Party congresses at all local levels in the buildup to the 14th National Party Congress and major political events to take place in Quang Binh in a comprehensive, decisive and effective manner.

The Deputy Minister also requested the Quang Binh police force to carry out approaches to reduce the crime rate by deploying social preventive measures while effectively executing security plans for the 2025 Lunar New Year.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung also asked the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department to take an exemplary and leading role in administrative reforms and strengthen Party building, aiming to build a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern Quang Binh police force to meet the task requirements in the new situation.
