Quang Binh Provincial Police Department rolls out working plan

The Quang Binh Provincial Police Department on January 8 held a conference to roll out its working plan for 2020.

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a speech at the event.

The conference also saw the presence of Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Council, and Mr. Tran Cong Thuat, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.

In 2019, the Quang Binh provincial police took comprehensive professional measures and coordinated with local authorities and forces in effectively solving complicated security-related cases.

The rate of successfully investigated criminal cases reached a high percentage. Especially, all serious cases have been solved. The local police forces also eliminated numerous criminal rings and gangs related to black credit, drug-related crime, prostitution and online gambling while strengthening the State governance over security and social order and reducing the number of traffic accidents.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang and Mr. Hoang Dang Quang recognized and praised the efforts and results gained by the provincial police.

According to the Deputy Minister, in the coming time, the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department should continue reviewing and developing plans in order to better solve the issues related to political security, social order and safety.

The Quang Binh provincial police forces should attach importance to ensuring security and safety for important projects, political, cultural and international events, especially Party congresses at all levels, promptly detect and defeat any sabotage plots and activities of hostile and reactionary forces, immediately solve complex issues and security factors in key localities and spheres, and be ready to effectively respond to non-traditional security threats.
