Quang Binh provincial police successfully fulfil given tasks in 2021

The provincial Police Department of Quang Binh held a conference on December 31 to review the provincial police’s task performance in 2021 and roll out its action plans for 2022.

The event saw the presence of Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Mr. Tran Hai Chau, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Tien Nam, Director of the provincial Police Department, briefed the delegates on the outstanding activities and achievements of the provincial police forces in 2021.

Notably, the provincial police took comprehensive professional approaches to eradicate crimes of all types, including gambling, online betting networks, “black credit”, hi-tech and drug-related crimes.

The quality and efficiency of their State management of social order and safety has been raised while the traffic accidents have reduced in terms of numbers of cases and casualties.

Meanwhile, the local police have also enhanced checks of fire-prone places; as a result, the number of fire incidents has sharply dropped.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Hai Chau appreciated the efforts of the provincial police forces in ensuring political security, social order and safety, contributing to socio-economic development in the province over the past time.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung also spoke highly of the achievements gained by the provincial Police Department over the past time. He asked the provincial police forces to seriously grasp and effectively implement the Resolution of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security on the major tasks in 2022.

Under the authority of the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung handed the second-class Feat of Arms Order to Senior Nguyen Tien Hoang Anh, Vice Director of the provincial Police Department, third-class Feat of Arms Orders to outstanding teams and individuals under the provincial Police Department and Certificates of Merit presented by the Prime Minister to one team, 5 officers, Emulation Flags presented by the MPS to 3 subunits under the provincial Police Department.
