Quang Binh provincial police support people in flood-hit areas

The Provincial Police Department of Quang Binh deployed officers and soldiers to help people in flood-hit areas on October 14 and 15.

Xuan Lai kindergarten of Xuan Thuy kindergarten in Le Thuy district, Quang Binh was under water due to continuous heavy rains. After the natural disaster, the teachers at the school branch, who are all women, faced many difficulties as they had to clear up a great deal of litter left by the flood.

In this circumstance, youths of the provincial police were deployed to help the teachers clean up the school and learning equipment and tools so that the kids can return to the school as soon as possible.

Earlier, officers and soldiers of the provincial police came to isolated areas to join local people in moving their property to safer places. They also delivered aid packages, including instant noodles, drinking water and medicines to local households. A number of police officers and soldiers took part in search and rescue activities.

After the flood receded, young local policemen formed 10 teams going to various areas to help local people overcome the consequences of the flood.
