Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.

In 2025, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department proactively advised the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and local authorities on effective approaches to implement the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on ensuring security and order, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development.

During the year, the Quang Ninh Police Force firmly grasped the security situation in the province and ensured absolute security and safety for all key infrastructures and projects, major political, cultural and social events, as well as visiting delegations including leaders of the Party and State, international guests and tourists to the province.

Addressing the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements attained by the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department in 2025.

Regarding its key tasks for the time ahead, the Deputy Minister requested the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the concluding remarks made by the Minister of Public Security at the 81st National Public Security Conference.

He stressed the need to focus on ensuring security in the locality, noting that the highest priority is to safeguard national security and let no strategic surprise occur in any circumstances.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam also urged the Quang Ninh Police Force to intensify efforts to prevent and combat all types of crime along key routes, areas and sectors, while promptly identifying and preventing new criminal methods and tactics.

The Deputy Minister further underscored the importance of shifting working methods from manual processes to modern technology-based approaches and promoting the application of science and technology and digital transformation to all aspects of work in line with Politburo Resolution No. 57.

Immediately after the meeting, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department is supposed to effectively implement the Secretariat’s directive on the celebration of the 2026 Lunar New Year, and intensify campaigns to prevent and combat crime in order to ensure public order and security for the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the elections of deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
