At the talks, the two sides exchanged general information about the natural, economic and social situations in the two localities.
In particular, the two sides exchanged in ensuring security and order and fighting crime in each province, focusing on immigration management and administrative management and management of foreigners in their localities as well as measures to prevent and combat drug trafficking, crimes in cyberspace and pursuit of fugitives.
In the spirit of cooperation, friendship, trust, respect, equality, and mutual benefits, and in line with the common perceptions reached by the leaders of the two Parties, the two States and the Ministries of Public Security of the two countries, the leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department and the Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department agreed to restart the implementation of the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department and the Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department signed in 2019 and worked on the contents of cooperation in all areas for the coming time.
Accordingly, they agreed to coordinate in fighting reactionary organizations aiming to overthrow the political regime of each country and sabotage the Vietnam-China cooperative relationship, enhance information and experience exchange in border management and control of illegal immigration activities, fight against criminal crime, drug trafficking, crime in cyberspace, transnational crime, and arrest wanted fugitives.
