Quang Tri Provincial Police Department hands over gratitude house to public security martyr’s family

The Quang Tri Provincial Police Department held an inauguration ceremony for a gratitude house for the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hiep, daughter of fallen public security officer Nguyen Hoi, on August 8th, in Cam Thuy commune, Cam Lo district.

The Quang Tri Provincial Police Department held an inauguration ceremony for a gratitude house for the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hiep, daughter of fallen public security officer Nguyen Hoi, on August 8th, in Cam Thuy commune, Cam Lo district.

After two months of construction, the gratitude house with the cost covered by the "Fund of Comradeship" of MPS has been completed and handed over to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hiep’s family.

The construction of the gratitude house is part of the activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution, the 79th anniversary of the National Day and the 79th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces.

Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department expressed their deep respect and gratitude towards fallen officer Nguyen Hoi for his sacrifice for the Fatherland, saying that the gratitude house demonstrates good feelings of Quang Tri police officers in particular and the Public Security Forces in general for martyrs’ families.

At the ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hiep thanked the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department for the care for her family, saying that the family now has a cozy place to worship the martyr, and that they will strive to overcome difficulties in their daily life and further promote the heroic revolutionary traditions of their family and homeland.
