On December 6th, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the National History Museum opened the “Nguyen dynasty treasures” exhibition at Hue Museum of Royal Fine Arts.

Besides, the exhibition shows the Queen’s large seals (made of gold in the 2nd year of the Tu Duc reign - 1849); national seals (made under the Gia Long king's reign 1802-1820).

Those royal treasures, related to royal rites and daily activities of the Nguyen dynasty and made of precious materials such as gold and pearl, will be introduced to visitors for the first time.
Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center revealed, this exhibition within the framework of a cooperation program between the Center and National History Museum, aims to return the Nguyen dynasty’s treasures to Hue.

He also said, after 71 years since Bao Dai King abdicated, this is the first time they have been able to collect so many of the Nguyen dynasty’s treasures to Hue for showcasing.
The exhibition will last till January 5th 2017.
