Safe driving course for police drivers starts

PSNews-The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) holds a refresher course on safe driving within the People's Public Security Forces in 2017. 

The opening ceremony was attended by Major General Bui Minh Giam, Deputy Director of the General Department of Police.

The 60 attendants of the course include officers and soldiers working as professional drivers in the forces, and officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department and police units holding driving licenses of B2 class or above.

During the 5 day course, the trainees will be instructed by trainers from the Traffic Police Department, Toyota Vietnam and Honda Vietnam on basic driving skills. At the same time, doctors of the emergency department of Ha Nam General Hospital will deliver basic methods to tackle unexpected situations and give first aid to victims of traffic accidents.

Via the course, the Organizing Committee will assess the level of drivers of the units, and suggest plans to improve knowledge of traffic laws and safety rules as well as driving skills for drivers in the public security forces, to meet task requirements of various public security units in the current situation.
