Security Guard Police High Command reviews security protection work in H1

The Security Guard Police High Command held a conference on June 25 to review its task performance in the first half of 2021 (H1) and roll out its working plans for the second half.

The event saw the presence of Major General Le Tan Toi, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Reports at the event read that, over the past six months, the Security Guard Police High Command has ensured absolute safety for top leaders of the Party and State and visiting international delegations in Vietnam as well as political events, conferences, and key establishments in the country.

Particularly, the security protection force safeguarded Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his entourage during their trip to Indonesia to attend the ASEAN Leaders' Meeting as well as ensured public order and security during the 13th National Party Congress and the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

The High Command also protected international delegations to Vietnam in line with the country’s anti-COVID-19 regulations as well as international diplomatic protocols, showing the Party and State’s foreign policy of hospitality and friendship.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi praised the achievements obtained by the Security Guard Police High Command over the past time.

About their missions in H2 of 2021, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi requested the Security Guard Police High Command to strictly implement the directions of the State President and the instructions of the Minister of Public Security at the conference reviewing task performances of the Public Security Forces in H1.

Under the authority of the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi presented the Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister to outstanding teams and individuals, the title "Emulation Soldier of the People's Public Security Forces" and the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Public Security to leaders of the Security Guard Police High Command.
