Seminar discusses solutions to improve economic security in Industry 4.0

PSNews - Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh attended and delivered a speech at a ministerial-level scientific seminar themed "Ensuring economic security in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0)" held on April 19at the People's Security University.

The seminar aimed to clarify the Party's viewpoints on the work of ensuring economic security in the context of Industry 4.0 and provide practical experiences and scientific arguments to help the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) direct the work of ensuring economic security in the new situation.

56 scientific reports were sent by scientists and experts from public security agencies and units, and provincial-level police departments to the Organizing Committee of the seminar.

Addressing the seminar, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized the importance of economic security to the country and society, saying that Industry 4.0 creates both favorable conditionsand challenges forthe Public Security Forces in ensuring economic security.

He asked the seminar to point out the impacts of technological advances on the economic and financial sectors, and the potential security risks posed by Industry 4.0 as well as to discuss solutions to improve economic security in the current context.
