Set against the illuminated backdrop of the Han River, the programme became a contemporary epic, presenting a vivid historical stream through modern stage language and large-scale real-scene performance techniques.

With an elaborate artistic format, the programme revived the glorious 80-year development journey with great deal of sacrifice in the fight against enemies and crimes throughout the national history of the People’s Public Security Forces, which inspired the audience’s pride and confidence in the mission of safeguarding national peace and security.

Chapter I, “The Stream of Peace,” opened with a grand parade across Dragon Bridge, with the participation of more than 700 public security officers, enlistees and civilians.

Chapter II, “The Shield of Peace,” offered a reflective experience through documentary footage and staged reenactments depicting the People’s Public Security Forces’ great effort to safeguard national security in different historical periods.

A particularly solemn moment was the torch-lighting ceremony,  symbolizing the passing of the revolutionary ideal from the previous generation to the present. It became extremely fantastic when a big flame shone brightly along Dragon Bridge.

At 21:15, the skies above the Han River were illuminated by a fireworks display, bringing the programme to an end with the audience’s pride and deep emotion.
