The display, opened on July 20, tells many touching stories about the revolutionary life of Vietnamese patriots who were incarcerated and died in Hoa Lo Prison, which was built by French colonialists in 1886 and considered as one of the three most savage prisons in Vietnam.
"Cung tram thang 7" exhibition consists of three sections, which are: “Aspirations for the country”, “Under the red flag” and “Forever in hearts". Each section tells audience stories of the great examples of patriotic figures who were jailed in Hoa Lo in the early 20th century.
The thematic exhibition was also organized to contribute to pay gratitude to heroes, martyrs and former political prisoners in the past.
Within the exhibition, there will be a role play about the last days of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh - Secretary of the Northern Party Committee in the death cell of Hoa Lo prison.
The display, which opens to public, will last until 31st October at Hoa Lo Prison Relic (No.1 Hoa Lo Street, Tran Hung Dao Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Ha Noi).
