Sports festival held by People’s Police College 2

PSNews - The festival drew the participation of more than 500 staff and students of 26 units and 47 classes competing in football, volleyball, tug of war, strong policeman and marathon. 

People’s Police College 2 under the Ministry of Public Security opened a sports festival on October 25 in Ho Chi Minh City in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – 2017).

The festival drew the participation of more than 500 staff and students of 26 units and 47 classes competing in football, volleyball, tug of war, strong policeman and marathon.

Delivering an opening speech, Senior Colonel Nguyen Manh An, Deputy Director of People’s Police College 2, head of the organizing board said, “This sport festival is one of the practical activities in celebration of the upcoming Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, and creates a healthy playground for lecturers and students.”

In addition, the sport competition helps all students and lecturers to raise their awareness of physical training, contributing to successfully conducting the campaign "Building image of the brave and humane police officer in the people’s heart".
