Sub-committees urged to ensure security for National Congress of Vietnamese Ethnic Minorities

The Sub-committees for Health and Security, and Sub-security for Security and Safety serving the second National Congress of Vietnamese Ethnic Minorities, held their second meeting to roll out their key tasks.

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Security-Health Sub-committee and Security-Order Sub-committee, chaired the event.

Under the direction of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee, the two Sub-committees under the MPS have actively implemented various activities to ensure security and order in preparation for the Congress.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang recognized and applauded the efforts of the sub-committees and relevant units over the past time.

He stressed the political importance of ensuring security and safety before and during the event, contributing to the general success of the Congress. He urged all sub-committees and relevant units, branches and the Municipal People’s Committee of Hanoi to take effective measures to meet security and health requirements for the Congress, particularly in the current context of COVID-19 prevention and combat.

The Municipal People’s Committee of Hanoi should direct local authorities to coordinate with the relevant public security units to ensure security, order and safety for the Congress.
