Supporting construction of new houses for family members of late policemen

PSNews-On August 28, a working delegation of the Public Security (CAND) Newspaper and Motorola Solutions offered supports of VND 100 million to the families of two police martyrs.

The two police martyrs are Bui Cong Nguyen, officer of the Security Team of the Moc Chau District Police, and Luong Phat Chiem, officer of the Mobile Police Unit of the Son La Provincial Police.

Police martyr Bui Cong Nguyen died while fulfilling his duty. As told by his wife, Lieutenant Dong Thi Dung at the Moc Chau District Police, on January 28, 2015, a five-officer working team of the Moc Chau District Police was deployed on National Highway 43 in Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district to ensure security and prevent drug trafficking. The police officers detected a suspect.

Nguyen successfully caught and controlled the suspect, but the suspect aggressively fought back and shot Nguyen right in his chest.

Despite his serious injury, Nguyen still kept chasing the suspect and tried to stop him. His comrades then managed to overpower the suspect. Nguyen died on the way to the hospital. He bravely fought criminals and heroically sacrificed himself for a peaceful life of the people without a chance to say good bye to his family.
