Thanh Hoa provincial police organize Party Congress

The Party organization of the Thanh Hoa provincial police held its 14th Congress for the term of 2020-2025 on August 12 and 13.

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, Mr. Trinh Van Chien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.

At the Congress, Senior Colonel Khuong Duy Oanh, Vice Director of the Provincial Police Department, delivered the political report reviewing the working results of the Party organization in the last term.

Delegates at the Congress also commented on main targets set for the next term, and agreed to promote Party building and force building in the next term.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, applauded the efforts and achievements of the Party organization of the provincial police in the last term.

They also required the newly-elected Party organization of the provincial police to actively grasp new situations and advise the higher level party committees to direct local police forces to effectively implement policies of the Party and the State on ensuring national security and social order and safety.

The provincial police Party organization should also expand the “All people protect national security” movement, actively take professional measures to ensure security in localities, and raise the effectiveness of crime prevention and combat.

It should enhance maintain traffic order and safety and continue to deploy professional policemen to communes.

Delegates at the Congress elected a 19-member Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term and a delegation to attend the 19th Thanh Hoa provincial Party Congress.
