The 81st National Public Security Conference opens this morning

PSNews – On the morning of December 15th, the Ministry of Public Security opened the 81st National-level Public Security Conference to review results of the task implementation of the Public Security Forces in 2025 and roll out their missions in 2026.

According to the schedule, the conference lasts one and a half days, during which delegates watch documentary films in lieu of the written reports submitted to the conference, the listen to the summary report on the work of countering corruption, waste and negativity as well as the practice of thrift in the Public Security Forces in 2025.

Next, delegates participate in a plenary session, where they discuss general questions raised in the reports, and listen to decisions on commendations and awards. Later they work in groups to watch documentary films, discuss specific issues and learn about the core content of two regulations of the Politburo.

The conference also summarizes the “For National Security” emulation movement in 2025 and launches its 2026 edition throughout the entire CAND force.

On the occasion of the 81st National Public Security Conference, a delegation of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security led by General Luong Tam Quang, held an incense-offering ceremony at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House , on the morning of December 15th, in the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security.

Following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, generations of public security officers and the ranks have continuously trained themselves to be worthy of the title “Revolutionary Public Security Officer,” with heroic quality, political steadfastness, resilience, absolute loyalty to the Party as well as wholeheartedly devoted to the people, unyielding in any difficulty or hardship, willing and determined to attain great accomplishments.

In 2025, the Public Security Forces actively advised the Party and the State on many important guidelines and solutions related to socio-economic development, national defense, national security and foreign affairs while taking the lead in implementing major resolutions and decisions of the Party and the State, and setting an example for other sectors to follow in the implementing the policy to streamline the political system’s organizational apparatus.

Further, the Public Security Forces pioneered in executing national digital transformation and administrative reform in order to better serve the people and businesses, as well as to create a new momentum for the country’s economic, cultural, and social development.

The forces renewed their strategic thinking to safeguard national security early and from afar, ensured absolute security and safety for major political events of the country, decisively and synchronously implemented preventive measures to control crime, proactively studied and identified criminal trends, and contributed to building a disciplined, orderly, and safe society.

This year saw the successful organization of the 8th Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organization, while various activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Public Security Forces were held across the country, leaving a strong impression and further spreading the positive image of the Public Security Officer in the hearts of the people.

Regarding their major missions in 2026 and the period ahead, the Public Security Forces should be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people, bring into full play their glorious heroic tradition, drill themselves in firm political will, stay united, continuously cultivate revolutionary moral qualities, intensify the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics and style in close connection with learning and implementing the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, restlessly improve their professional expertise and heighten their sense of responsibility under the action motto “Following Uncle Ho's teachings – Renewing thinking, enriching knowledge – Being regular, elite, modern – Devoted to the Party, for the people”.

With their strong determination to excellently fulfill all tasks entrusted by the Party, the State, and the people, the Public Security Forces will accompany the nation to enter an era of prosperity, affluence and sustainable development.
