Thua Thien-Hue and Da Nang police sign coordination regulations to ensure security and order

PSNews-In the morning of June 5, the Police Departments of Thua Thien-Hue province and Da Nang held a ceremony to sign the coordination regulations to promote security and order in neighboring areas.

Present at the signing ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha and Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Municipal Party Committee Vo Cong Tri; representatives from Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang and 4 bordering districts between the city and province, namely Phu Loc, Nam Dong of Thua Thien-Hue and Lien Chieu and Hoa Vang of Da Nang.

The coordination regulations focus on eight main contents. Accordingly, the two local police forces will jointly provide advice to the Party committees and administrations at all levels on disseminating and educating the local people about Party’s policies and State laws of the State.

In addition, the local police will actively exchange information and coordinate in checking and verifying information related to national security, denying infringements of national sovereignty and security.

The local police forces will jointly ensure absolute safety for Party, State and international delegations as well as key targets, structures, major local- and national- level political and cultural events and festivals happening in the city and province.

The coordination and cooperation between police forces of the two localities have proved to be effective, contributing to ensuring national security and successfully investigating cases, Senior Colonel Dang Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of the Thua Thien-Hue Province Police said.

The signing of the coordination regulations will also help promote the movement “All people protecting national security”, contributing to maintaining political stability, ensuring social order and facilitating socio-economic development of the two localities and the region.
