Thua Thien Hue SAC receives Asian most innovative smart cities award

PSNews -  Thua Thien Hue Smard Administration Center Project deployed by Viettel recently won Telecom Asia Awards 2019 in most innovative smart cities category.

The Telecom Asia Awards 2019 Organizer recently announced enterprises awarded in this year season. Accordingly, Viettel Group was nominated in 2/5 categories of the final round. Thua Thien Hue Smart Administration Center Project won Asian most innovative smart cities category.

Thua Thien Hue Smart Administration Center deployed by Viettel was officially operated in 2018. Telecom Asia Awards recognized that the project was developed on the basis of province's demands and characteristics.

The Organizer highly appreciated its innovation and suitability. It is believed that the project will ensure local development orientation, enhance citizen and tourist experience as well as conserve the beauty of country-wide center for culture and history.

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Vice Director of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Department of Information and Communications, winning this title will create trust for leaders and implementing agencies, people will also support more. In particular, the most important meaning is that people understand and participate actively, smart cities can succeed.

He also said the most important thing is still the interest of leaders, combined with an understanding of the professional field. The host unit is assigned to take the initiative in the process and cannot follow the technological process, based on the division and assistance of other units.

Units responsible for implementing basic solutions and participating units must ensure the relative independence of these sectors. And finally, preparation of the planning process and approach will help make the right problems based on the support and authorization of the provincial leaders.

By making people and businesses the center, it is first necessary to assess and survey which needs are urgent for people, businesses, and to build the basis for intelligent urban service problems. should not stand on the basis of technological intelligence.

Earlier, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee determined that building a smart urban area was one of the main tasks to be included in the resolution. Thua Thien Hue is one of the provinces that implemented the project in the form of a People's Council proposal, thus creating a large consensus in the local State system.
