Tradtional stone stele of the former Central Security School inaugurates

PSNews - With the aim of paying gratitude to former officers, lecturers and soldiers of the former Central Security School, the University of Public Security decided to build the traditional stone stele at the Chang Riec Cultural and Historical Forest, Tan Lap Commune, Tan Bien District, Tay Ninh Province.

The University of Public Security on January 6 held a ceremony to inaugurate the traditional stone stele in commemoration of its predecessor - the former Central Security School of the South Central Command (existing during the past war),  at the Chang Riec Cultural and Historical Forest, Tan Lap Commune, Tan Bien District, Tay Ninh Province.

The ceremony saw the participation of leaders of the University of Public Security, former staff members of the school as well as representatives of the Tay Ninh authorities.

Delivering the opening speech, Major General Dang Van Doai, Rector of the University of Public Security briefed the participants on achievements of the university  over the past 55 years.

Since its inception, the school's important political mission was to open political and professional fostering courses for officers and soldiers of the Public Security Forces, who directly combated in the Southern battlefield.

With the aim of paying gratitude to former officers, lecturers and soldiers of the former Central Security School, the University of Public Security decided to build the traditional stone stele at the Chang Riec Cultural and Historical Forest, Tan Lap Commune, Tan Bien District, Tay Ninh Province.

Earlier, the Youth Union chapter of the University of Public Security raised fund and mobilized organizations and people for the cost of the project.

The stele with great cultural and historical significance contributes to educating the current generation of public security officers and soldiers about the history of the Security Force, and encouraged them to heighten their sense of responsibility and devote their youth to building the university and the whole Public Security Forces.
