Training course on Party work kicks off in Southern region

PSNews - The quality of Party organization at the basic level is considered one of the decisive factors to promote the Party's leadership capacity and combativeness as well as to ensure the successful fulfillment of all tasks.

The Party Committee of the General Department of Politics kicked off a training course on Party work on October 31st for 121 trainees, who are members of the Party committees and leaders of the public security academies and colleges in the Southern region.

The quality of Party organizations at the basic level is considered one of the decisive factors to promote the Party's leadership capacity and combativeness as well as to lead Party organizations and cells to the successful fulfillment of all tasks. Therefore, to improve quality and leadership capacity and combativeness of basic level Party organization is a fundamental and pressing requirement in the current state", Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Nam underscored.

The Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress defines the general objectives in the 2016 - 2020 period: It is necessary to build a clean and strong Party, to improve the Party's leadership capacity and combativeness and build a firm political system...". Accordingly, Mr. Nam asked trainees to actively discuss key issues and canvass practical activities of Party organization in order to improve efficiency of the course.

During the 3-day training course, lectures will focus on political topics on Party building to trainees, including the organization and operation of Party organizations of the Public Security Forces, the functions and missions of basic-level Party organization; tasks of Party executive commitees and Party secretaries; and the inspection and supervision.
