The first meeting of the Trade Committee of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) was held on July 20.

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) organized a conference on September 25 to review the implementation of the 2000 Law on Drug Prevention and Combat (supplemented and amended in 2008). Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the conference.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on December 13, chaired a meeting with relevant agencies under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to check a draft plan on the implementation of the Law on the People’s Public Forces (Revised) within the Public Security Forces before submitting it to the Minister for issuance.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism reviewed the 10-year enforcement of the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control at a conference in Hanoi on November 28.

A trans-sectoral inspection mission for the implementation of laws in 2018, under the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) led by Dang Hoang Oanh, Deputy Minister of Justice on June 20, had a meeting with the Ministry of Public Security (MPS). 

PSNews – The Ha Nam Provincial Police on June 5 reviewed 2 years implementing Directive No.5 of the Politburo on promoting the movement “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morals and Style”, and 5 years implementing Directive No.5 by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) “Promoting the movement of the People’s Public Security Forces studying and following 6 teachings of Uncle Ho”.

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the Ministry of Defense organized a conference on April 18 to review the implementation of Decree No. 77/2010/NĐ-CP dated July 12, 2010 (Decree 77) in Q1 of 2018.

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a conference on December 1 to review the 10-year implementation of the Information Technology Law and 2-year implementation of Resolution 26-NQ / ĐUCA of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Action Plan of the MPS to realize Resolution 26-NQ / ĐUCA.
