The Tuyen Quang Provincial Police Department organized the 2023 real-force Plan A2 rehearsal, on October 17.

Plan A2 contains the contents of countering cyber attacks, bringing down flying drones, neutralizing terrorists and rescuing hostages, clearing bombs and explosives, fighting fire. The Plan A2 drill is part of the 2023 Tuyen Quang province defense area exercise.

The drill included 3 parts: Participating forces watching a film with assumed scenarios; real forces shooting down drones; real forces neutralizing terrorists, rescuing hostages, fighting fire and rescuing victims.

Nearly 1,000 local police officers and soldiers participated in the drill.

Thanks to the great effort, close coordination and excellent skills of the participating forces, the drill ended in a success, reaching all political and professional targets while no injury and no damage of equipment was recorded.

The drill sommary report said that the good organization and preparation contributed largely to the success of the rehearsal.

The drill with assumed scenarios close to the reality helped raise local Party members, officers and people’s vigilance against plots and acts of "peaceful evolution", "subversive riots" and "terrorist sabotage" by hostile forces while improving the abilities of the participating forces to deal with various situations and leadership skills of leaders of the participating units.

The local police forces also learnt valuable lessons from the drill so that they can overcome their weaknesses and build up their combat capabilities.
